Travelling to Brittany

JOLI Holidays provides holiday accommodation only. We will help all we can with your travel arrangements, but we are not a travel agency and our knowledge of routes, times, prices etc is limited. However, we are sure the following information will help you:

Sailing to Brittany

Most of our customers opt to sail to France.

There are several ports into France, but the most convenient route to the campsite is by sailing into Roscoff, which gives you approximately a 90 minute journey to the campsite, St Malo is the second closest at roughly approximately a 3 hour drive.

Flying to Brittany

Quimper does have an airport, but unfortunately it is used only for national flights.

The nearest international airport is Brest which is about an hour's drive away. You can arrange car hire from here or you can hop on a train literally outside the airport which will take you to the centre of Quimper and from there its a 5 minute ride in a taxi to L'Orangerie or 15 minutes to La Mer Blanche.

Alternatively there's L'Orient airport about a 1hr 20 minute drive away or Rennes airport, approximately 2 hrs 30 mins away.

Eurostar to Brittany

If you live close to the Eurostar service, it is a possibility, but you do have a lengthy drive the other side of approximately 5 hrs 40 minutes from Paris, 7 hrs 30 minutes from Lille or 8 hrs and 30 minutes from Calais.

Obviously, the choice on how you travel to France is entirely up to yourselves and we will provide you with courtesey route maps to and from your chosen ferry port, airport or train station.

Discounted ferries to Brittany with JOLI Holidays

We are pleased to be able to offer discounted ferry fares to all our customers with most major ferry companies such as Brittany Ferries, Condor, P&O, Seafrance etc, regardless of which port(s) you decide to sail to and from.

We do not pre-book ferry crossings for you, we feel your choice of travel ie., route, time and day, is as important as the type of accommodation you choose. Your holiday starts the minute you leave home and we're sure you'll want to feel as much in control of things as possible.

As already stated, we provide courtesy route maps for all our customers whether you arrive by sea, plane or train, so finding our campsites is never a problem.
